O.K., Warren, just where does Rummy have your boat? Are you saying that he
is recycling your boat?

You asked, "Why is so much of the national debt held by China and why does
the
Federal Government allows this to happen?" There are several answers to
this. First, Bush is not a conservative as stated by Dave Lewis. He is a
big business Republican and a one worlder. Second answer is that China
sells more in dollars here than they buy, so they have a surplus of U.S.
dollars (trade deficit). One worlders allow this action as they say if we
had import restrictions it would hurt U. S. economy. They contend that if
we restricted trade from China then China would do business elsewhere and
retaliate in other ways. So the result is that China uses its excess
dollars to buy U. S. Treasury Securities.

Also part of the problem is that the Chinese currency, Yen, is undervalued
against world currencies by China. It is able to maintain that
undervaluation because of their surplus balance of trade world wide. Bush
maintains this type policy because of reasons stated in first paragraph.

Now on the other side of the issue is that some of that Chinese or otherwise
foreign stuff makes the U. S. more competitive and lowers our production
costs. For example, Stan is able to replace tools lost at the plant with
throw always rather than quality tools. If his unskilled help is going to
loss or destroy stuff, they might as well destroy cheap stuff. This effect
results in lower boat coast, home costs, car costs, etc.

The total result of increased trade results in more jobs world wide, some of
the jobs have to be in U. S. because that is where much of world wide
production goes. All those Mexican and Latino workers do use up hammers,
nails, power mowers, etc.

So, where is Rummy sailing today?

Political addendum:
"Italians know that most Muslims are law-abiding but also recognize that
Muslim males below the age of 40 are responsible for roughly 99 per cent of
all terrorism worldwide from Thailand to Britain.

Accordingly, all Italian police forces monitor, scrutinize, question and if
necessary stop for interrogation any person who fits that definition if he
arouses suspicion. That way attacks can be foiled in their earliest stage:
when terrorists came to check out potential targets, they were checked-out
themselves, and felt too exposed to persist.

The Italians believe in discriminatory police surveillance; they know it
would be idiotic to devote equal time to elderly Japanese tourists, gay
paraders, Scandinavian pensioners and hundreds of other definable categories
of visitors to sunny Italy.

Effective foreign intelligence and home security outfits have also helped to
intercept terrorist threats, just as in Britain.

But it is the vigilance and activism of rationally discriminatory policing
that has made the difference.
