[Rhodes22-list] Tiller extension

I've discovered that a tiller extension would be useful when needing to retrieve another cold beverage from the cooler in the cabin or otherwise moving about the boat.  I bought this one

but it doesn't fit into the tiller handle.  Is there a connector missing that I need to use or did I buy the wrong one and need to exchange it?
