[Rhodes22-list] Back from the rat race , depth gauge, and April

Hi, folks,

I'm back from SOL purgatory. at least for another
year, and have been busy on the boat.

I've attached a picture of the depth gauge that was on
WM when I bought it.
Does anyone recognize it? There is no name anywhere on
it not on the sending unit.

It does not read the depth...just blinks 0.0. If the
arrows are pushed, it flashed A 0.1 & goes to A0.30. 

Any ideas, anyone?

I've moved the gas tanks  (2 -6 gal ) to under the
starboard cockpit seat. (see pix) Lengthened the fuel
line & secured it along its route. You can see from
the attached picture that she is riding on her lines
much better. Still a slight list to port; nothing a
few more gallons of gas won't fix.

Installed the new commode; it works! Tough time
getting the hoses on as I do not have the hand
strength to grip & turn...but after a bit of my
'nautical' vocabulary, the hoses gave in..;^) 

Getting several of the base screws in was tricky as my
screwdrivers were too long...a trip to the
well-stocked toolbox revealed a nifty racheting driver
with a articulated handle. Bent that baby 90 deg . &
racheted away. Mission accomplished. ;^)

Happy is the gal with the high-thrust
prop.....neighbor helped me change it & what a
difference in maneuverability! I gave up a bit in
speed but it was worth it.

Next is to clean the floor below , maybe seal it, &
install the new indoor-outdoor carpeting....pix to
come !

April says 'hello' in the midst of eating
buttercups...;^)
