I only gave you phase one of the story.. IN ADDITION.. they needed 2 pieces
of paper with the address and your name. Since most of my bills are
electronic that was not easy so I brought the tax bill and a bank
statement.. The tax bill was not sufficient because it did not show the
address only the deed book reference. AAAAAAGH!! I even brought a copy of
the phone book page , reasoning that that would kind of indicate a bill.. No
good.. Well after about 45 min of this they finally figured out that they
had they had enough information to give me a license but not my wife. She
only had passport, birth certificate, old pa license, but only one piece of
paper with our address on it. Finally the supervisor decides that I can sign
an affidavit swearing that Yvonne was in fact living at that address. (still
not sure if they cared that she was my wife despite having the same last
name) . and yes.. the fees and taxes in this state are insane.
State income tax alone is %7 vs. 3%.
I tried to get Yvonne to agree that the affidavit would
count as a second honeymoon.
She only went for second marriage but not the honeymoon.. :-)
