Then you have access to a sling? boat yard?  Can jacks be used on your boat
to do the job?  Would you consider a body shop that rebuilds high dollar
show cars?  They show all over the country.  Imagine that they know how to
hide a scratch.  I know of one about 60 miles from your house on the other
side of the Hudson.

As to bottom painting, that get to be very problematic these days unless you
do it yourself quickly.  Rummy friend at 'dockside' does good work.  You do
not have to live here to bring your boat here.  And you are right about not
finding your line of work at a fair rate of pay in South Carolina.  What
happen here is that companies transfer in high dollar types and then they do
not accept transfer away.  Even if that means finding another job locally. 
Something addictive about the environment and life style here.  The high
dollar types discover life, ask Rummy.

If you wait too long to do your sailing season will float away.  And while
