What he (Hank) said.

Use a strong magnet to allow you to 
attach it to the top of the hitch,
and remove it easily.

Bicycle flag wands, driveway marker 
sticks, defective mag-mount CB 
antennas, all could be aiming stakes.

Piece of tape on rear window as sight.
Or
A second stick (different color) to 
mag-mount on hitch ball carrier.

Line up the sticks/tape.
