Hello Ed. and Others,

Thanks for your kind and quick response.

The uppermost height of mast, resting on crutch and bow pulpit is not of immediate importance, but should I choose to store the boat in a some type of storage shed, then I would need to know the height.

I am asking about trailer dimensions if the width of the trailer exceeds the width of the boat. I have just about 9ft at the side of my house, from side wall to boundary line, give or take a few inches. If the overall length of the trailer axle from outside wall of tire to tire is less than 8.5 ft then that is good news. Can someone give the exact dimension? Thanks.

My family and I are residing in Pullman Washington, about two miles north of the Washington State University. Go Cougs! I have done more reading about sailing than actual sailing. Among the books I have read are "Sailing Small" by Stan Grayson, and "Sailing Big on a Small Sailboat". I bought the newest edition when I learned that a Rhodes is featured on the front cover. I just want to see the boat, so please send me pictures if you have the time.

With regard to actual sailing, I have been on the water about four times with a friend who owns a Aquarius 23. He has been very generous in trying to add some practical experience to the bit of theory that I have acquired.

I would be glad to learn of any Rhodes 22 owner who resides in my neck of the woods. It would be helpful for my wife, and hopefully first mate, to see and handle the boat that we might be sailing in together. My twelve year old son prefers a power boat, and his autism has nothing to do with it.

Ed, I hope this gives you a clearer picture, and thanks for asking.

  Caesar
