[Rhodes22-list] Purchase advice for a newbie - deck construction

I've got a '76 and the area between the mast and the bow (away from the
centerline of the boat at least) is a bit springy.  As far as I can tell
that's normal as both sides deflect the same and there is no signs of any
damage.   - rob
