[Rhodes22-list] I need your advice for reconditioned Rhodes- luff pads

Joe,
I took Ron and Linda Singerman out on my boat today - higher winds, somewhat like the winds I experienced in Annapolis, but sheeted thru the middle fairlead and cam cleats - the fairlead is well placed to make the sail most effective. I'm really not so concerned about spilling wind thru the foot as before. The shortened sail does help the tacking process for me - try it on your boat and see if it helps you. Outside all of the shrouds is further off the wind - I think this will help you.
Chow,
Art
