Brad:

Your comment about insurance costs is political. Last week I asked the name
of the one candidate for President that has Tort reform on his list of
things to do.

Hint to Bob Skinner, it cannot be a Democrat because of the amount of money
the National Democrats get from plaintiff's lawyers and one their candidates
who made his millions as a plaintiff's lawyer.

The Tort issue was well described in the story of why there are only two
manufacturers of ladders in USA today. A huge sum was won by a plaintiff's
lawyer for the wife of a guy who fell off a ladder while he was using it in
a way that ladders are not intended to be used. While the company did not
go bankrupt, it liquidated so as not to be involved in more waste of
resources. It threw about 50 people out of jobs. Even if your product is
used for purposes that the product was not intended to be used for, these
guys sue.

For those who do not understand, this destroys many good companies. This is
a real political problem. Which is the only presidential canidate to speak
to the issue.
