It was nice to have you while you were among us.  Sail in peace and fair
breezes.

There was a forum prior to this email list being organized.  It was
restricted to sailing subjects.  I recall that often we would see a post,
"Is this thing working?"  Then the sender would get several replies that the
others thought so...   That is how and why a discussion took place to
getting this forum going.  When our host, a New York computer guru and
sailing affectionado offered the use of his server, the rest is history.

I guess you are too old to enjoy the politics, social and sexual innuendo,
but the rest of still have a some time left and fully intend to enjoy every
minute.  It is elementary that you do not have to read all post.  While
often some sailing stuff appears in post that are not correctly labeled in
the subject line, simply delete those not correctly labeled.  

Also, it is possible not to get emails sent to your email box, but simply
read the post off the WEB.

Again, it was nice to have you.  Sorry to see an old cuss go to the deep
six.  Those that have been here for a while have seen others go to Davey
Jones Locker.  Sorry, but the one thing we do not do is maintain an obituary
listing.

Have you seen Stan complain?
