[Rhodes22-list] Do you recommend the Bimini top?

OK, here is where we bought our bimini.

That being said, this is not the ideal bimini, but it does work.  I wish we
had taken a bit more time to mount it, but when it's 95 degrees and your on
the water, we got it a bit of a hurry.  Time to position it a bit better
would be in order.  We mounted the brackets for the straps in places where
they got in the way and had to move them.  It's also a bit tall and
interferes with the boom a bit.  I think I'm going to cut the poles down a
bit this winter to shorten it.

The site Mary Lou sent out has the slides and hinges that look exactly like
what came with ours.  Perhaps a retrofit of a fixed mount is possible? - rob
