Hey John, We just bought a Thetford 365 potti and in the parts breakdown in the manual it shows a fitting that replaces the outlet spout so that you could do a pump out. I think that we've decided to go with the porta potti. The 365 is well made, and so far we have not noticed any lingering odors. Joe
