Bill,
I would guess between 1200-1500 lbs. I always take every thing out of my
boat for winter,and store it in the basement. I don't load it back up
until I've freshened the bottom paint.The engine lift only put that
strain on the eye bolt for about 5 minutes. Thats the time it takes me
to pull the trailer forward until the wheel  hits the cherry picker
leg,put the bow jack in place,and jack it up . However I always have 
the cherry picker in the bow eye when I'm under the boat,as an extra
safety measure.
