[Rhodes22-list] Montana Neighbor -Flethead Lake

 Ceasar,

After two years of trailering we reached the same conclusion. We are in the
process of reserving a slip on Flathead Lake for next season. The Lake
level is dam controlled, and often not up to full pool until late June, so
early in the season we will probably make a a few trailer trips to Pend
Oreille, and that's also when we might get to CDA. We'll contact you when
we do.

When you decide to try Flathead, and if don't mind pulling a boat over a
pass, (good road but a little steep in a couple of spots), it's only about
160 miles from CDA to Big Arm State Park on Flathead. It's right at the
best part of the Lake for sailing and has secure tow vehicle/trailer
parking. Nice anchorage for overnight nearby. Best yet, none of the
crowds of boats we sometimes see when we drive past Lake CDA.

We'll stay in touch.

Bob Fletcher
