[Rhodes22-list] Single Handing

It depends on your shape. I like a short harness. I wouldn't consider
anything other than an inflatable, because I just won't wear it. I'll
check my brand. I wear it all the time, but never clip on. People
drown clipped onto boats, getting dragged behind. I can't figure out
how to clip on in such a way I can't be knocked into the water (jackline
too long; distance from water too short) when going forward.

I never leave the cockpit when clipped on. I make a jackline between
rear cleats and clip on if I feel I need it. Then I heave-to or anchor
until the situation passes.
