Brad,

Cheer up. If they hit the mark, you'll finally have time to play with all
of your toys!

Enjoy the New Year (lucky you, you celebrate two!) and leave the rest for
another time, next year.

The last of 2008.

Well, I don't know how 08 was for you, but it kicked my ass. I'd ask my
parents for help but they lived through the Great Depression and in 1974, my
Dad bought me $300 worth of tools and tool boxes with money he didn't have,
so it's best we don't go there, again. Fan took a cut in pay and I just got
word from my union there's a bulls eye on my paycheck. "Times are hard and
the money's tight". Let's keep our wits about us! My wife landed in this
country 20 years ago with 2 suitcases and $50 US, and NorthWest Airlines
wanted to charge her $35 for one of the suitcases being overweight. She and
I would be wealthy right now if we could milk that minority thing, except,
her net worth from working her ass of in the US is too high to qualify for
minority status. Everyone's nerves are on edge. I hate to quote old corny
sayings from ancient people, but, there's these echos in my head; "Son, do
the right thing! Son, don't compromise your principles. Son,
 brush your teeth".

Well, you can skip brushing your teeth if you're out on a sailboat. We'll be
fine folks! Wear your short skirt and wave your pom poms. Just don't send me
the photo.

2009 Baby! We have nothing to fear but fear itself!

Brad
