Too right! In any group of whatever persuasion, there are those who 
give the decent and thinking members a bad name. It was Mark Twain 
who said (I believe) that he did not want to be a member of any 
organization who would have him join them.

Unfortunately, there are ultimately a limited number of choices for 
leadership in our two-party system. Politics make strange (and often
unsavory) bedfellows.
