[Rhodes22-list] Politics - McCain's running mate may have decided a year ago

The other day McCain was asked about Huckabee as his running mate.  He at
first declined comment, but added that there was nothing wrong with having a
running mate from the same part of the country.  While some thought that was
allowing the possibility of Huckabee, there is someone who has been helping
him from the get go.  That is a guy who spent 10 years in Congress, declined
invitations to have his name put on presidential ballots because his
spokesman said he was considering running for Governor of Oklahoma.
