The government will not legalize drugs (I think they should).  The DEA would
be out of business; the FBI would lose 25% of its anti-drug funding; CIA
would lose funding; local and state police would lose funding and all would;
have to downsize departments since the "drug units" wouldn't be necessary
any longer.   The only plus-up would be BATF which would probably add BADTF,
the D for drugs so they could keep up with the taxes.

I watched Bill sail on LIS.  Not Bad.  One of our liberal Rhodies was
invited to join him for a cruise.  Turns out Buckley has some genes that
might disillusion Ed.  He graciously eventually changed his mind on drugs
and now joins me in saying they should be legal so we can end that war - not
sure re his current thinking on ending the democracy exporting wars.   Gotta
watch your heroes these days - they are coming in many shades.
