so i'm right. control. an eye for an eye. now that's going back, how far? and bs on the world market. our market. would we stand for russian or chinese ships in the straits? no way! control! as far as making iran an ally, what do they want? whatever it is ....we have it....control. are we willing to give it to them....probably not. perhaps its time for the carrot.

International law is international law. Don't get sucked in by jingoism!
The Iranians knew exactly what they were doing was provocative. The US Navy
patrols the seaways for the world market. If we quit, the Chinese will take
over tomorrow. This is a small globe. How do you make Iran an ally?
Perhaps the methods we used with Germany and Japan is the solution.
Methinks you live in fantasy land. Israel doesn't have the luxury of living
in fantasy land. They live in reality. We have a strong movement in this
country to paint Israel as the bad guys. BS! History moves slowly
sometimes. In the case of Israel, they had about 6000 years to figure out
what works, and force works quite nicely, thank you. We've had 1300 years
to figure out what works with the "Religion of Peace", and force works quite
nicely, thank you. The Iranians aren't bad people, I know several. But,
peace comes at the end of a gun barrel.

You can continue to draw on your 'crack pipe' of why 'can't we just all get
along' but it won't solve the problem. I'm not suggesting the Chinese
solution to the problem (I know people in government in the China Muslim
provinces and the reason you don't hear about their radical Muslim problems
is because the bad guys are dead) but we can't be pussies either. Well, we
can, remember 9/11?
