edwards wife needs him more than we do! guiliani is not qualified on foriegn affairs. i heard a good phrase: we judge others by their actions, we judge ourselves by our intentions. most candidates go into the job believing that they can solve a problem as stated presently. flip-flopping is derided as indecisiveness. most pols when actually in office go back on promises or stands because of changing conditions. most problems are iceburg shaped in nature, you only see the piece that sticks up above the horizon. when jfk ran for office, his rhetoric struck a nerve. every pol in the world was influenced by him. idealism is an admirable trait. working the problem from that vantage point feels good. naysayers are not popular. ask yourself why?
