Tom,

Merging Art and Rummy's advice might be in order.  While you are waiting for
correct device, measure size of hole.  Is it 1/4 inch?  The use smoothe 1/4
inch rod or clevis pin during the interim.  A screw might change the
diameter and future utility of the hole.  That is, preserve the integrity of
the car and still have something in the hole so as to keep boom up so that
you do not wack your head while doing other chores.
