[Rhodes22-list] Gunkhole in Edenton:

I only know of one, but it's a good one. Approaching Edenton from the
water, stay to the left as you near the town docks. There is a Cypress
treed shoal from the left, go around that and up the creek. This creek,
sorry I don't know the name, is a great place to drop the hook, nice and
protected. Continue up the creek to the bridge and you will find Edenton
Marina to starboard. My friends Fran and Tom Louis keep Fran's Carolina
Blue Pearson 30 and Tom's purple Pearson 40 there. There is also a newly
recycled green R22 in a slip too. They have a good launching ramp I've
used many times with my 16 footer. There is an "honor system" pay box near
the ramp. The white building near the ramps has bathrooms with showers for
the marina. There is usually no one around, but some renters live upstairs
and have a balcony to view the whole marina.

My suggestion: tie up, drop $10 in the box, take showers, anchor in the
creek for the night.

Subject: [Rhodes22-list] Welcome Rob and renting a Rhodes from Stan

Rob, I am sorry but we already have a Rob, so you will have to be Rob II....

Welcome to the Rhodes 22 List...

You are in luck on your inquiry because several others have already done
within the last year what you plan.

Ask Captain Michael W (we have at least three Michaels) how to search the
archives for all those adventures. A great deal of information is contained
therein...

Ask Micheal M how to sail with kids. He used to sail with three daughters.
Bob Keller also sails with multiple daughters.

How old are the kids? Across the Sound in Columbia is: (turn up volume)

Again, welcome to the Rhodes List. BTW (by the way) where are you from?

Greenville, SC, USA
Addendum: "GOD does not deduct from a man's allotted time, those hours
spent sailing."
