[Rhodes22-list] re inforcing seats

Todd,

Yes, I had thought about the problem of where to secure the aft support. My
first thought is to use a 2' x 2' (or whatever fits) piece of 3/4" marine
ply bonded to the inside of the laz partition to spread out the load. I
already have a piece of plywood on each side to provide structure to secure
my laz storage system to. A second thought would be to place a support
column at the rear of the cockpit to the floor, but there is little or no
support structure (in my '81) under the rear cockpit floor/gutter area. In
either design, something would need to be added for support so I would
rather hide it in the laz where it can also serve multiple functions.
