[Rhodes22-list] Lee fix the tiller extension

Ed,

Good point. A new one is about $100 so I guess I shouldn't consider it
a disposable item. I don't do much routine maintenance unless something
is ugly or broken. Guess I should change my attitude now that I'm a
boat owner.

Lee,

Sailboats need routine maintenance. Cleaning the insides of your hiking
stick is in that catagory. You probably do not need new one, just take
it
off and spray some cleaner inside and shake it upside down and rightside
up
and reinstall. Check the archives for various cleaners used for this
job,
or ask Bill Effros.
