Robert,

The gaff rigged sloop is really a glorified dinghy.  I built it with my
teenage son as a winter project back in 2000-2001.  You can check out all of
the details at the website from which I bought the plans - www.stevproj.com
It is the Weekender.  I built it as designed with the only change being that
I raised the cabin by 4 inches to provide sitting headrooom.  A fun building
project and sails well, but too small to actually cruise in.   So now we are
buying the Rhodes - a real boat!
