I was at Ft. Riley last week doing some work on range projects. We
actually stayed in Junction City but made in to the Manhattan Airport
Sunday night to attempt to pick up my luggage which got sent to Memphis
instead of Kansas City. I finally got it on Monday.

Ron,

Hey--Fort Riley (Manhattan) is my home town! And I agree that Bragg was
probably your best choice. I've done temporary duty at all but Sill,
and I visited there on vacation, which is pretty sad in itself.

Fort Lost-in-the Woods in the Ozarks has some pretty countryside, but
nothing else.

I actually learned to sail at Riley. They have two huge man-made lakes
nearby that together have over 100 miles of shoreline.

If you golf don't forget to take your clubs with you to Bragg--Pinehurst
is next door.

Ed,

Actually I had a choice of several locations. Fort Bragg was actually
one
of the better locations. Consider: Ft. Hood, Sill, Leonard Wood or
Riley
and you'll understand why I chose Bragg when offered.

"Hooah, all the way"
