[Rhodes22-list] Was Chetc's rant

Hey Rummy and the rest of the gang,

I sail on Lake Erie, out of Sandusky Bay,in Sandusky, Ohio. The season is a
little short in the Great Lakes area, but the Lake Erie Islands make for
some fantastic sailing grounds. I have had several boats over the last 15
years or so, Catalina 22, Catalina 30, Newport 27, Precision 16, and a
Potter 19. Now I am liking the looks of the Rhodes 22, which is why I'm
here! 

Of course you're all correct...I am the newbie and I shouldn't be bitchin'
about the content on the list...but then again, come to think of it, I do
lots of things that I probably shouldn't!

Welcome to the Rhodes list. Yes, there is a lot of political discussion  
going on right now, but it's an election year. It will settle down some once
we  
get past November.
We try to use the subject line as a way to let people know the topic of  
discussion. Personally I don't have the time to read all that crap so I
simply  
hit the delete button. Sometimes we get lazy and don't change the subject
line  
and one of our members will get on our case until we get it right.
I don't have to get my boat ready to launch. It stays in the water all 
year. 
Ice is never a problem on Lake Hartwell. How about you? Where you from and  
what are you doing on our list?
