[Rhodes22-list] This day in history

No...I like being grumpy. Maybe Ed & I could take turns....(said without malice, Ed)..

Besides, the beer fumes wafting down from the yacht club upstairs will keep me going for hours.

Lighten up girl. Sounds to me like you could use a couple of my rum and
cokes. Besides, it's Saturday and everybody knows that means more free time for
drinking and sailing.

Yes, that appears to be true....but someone has to be first to stop....and
there's a lot to be said for the reasoned individual who sees the need to put
an end to the discussion.

It's hard....everyone wants to have the last word...(don't I know...;^)

I do hope you'll allow me to respectfully disagree with your
vision/view. I pretty regularly see all sort of rudeness on here, and of
late, it seems that those of a certain political persuasion are the ones
that are asked to turn peacemakers.

In this case, the discussion never hit the "information" point, and
while I agree that I won't likely change anyone's mind about the main
topic (c'mon, few, if any, of these discussions ever do that), I would
like to think that there might be at least one or two folks out there
that read the discussions and think "Maybe calling ANYONE I don't know a
'dumb son of a bitch" is a bit over the line".
