[Rhodes22-list] It's Politics

I turn on my computer and check the list and other emails. I am assailed
with emails from list members too chicken to post comments to the list.
They say that they are not really political, but look at this email:

Comments about the socialist Congress lady from California, Maxine Waters,
who wants to nationalize the big oil companies. Has she considered that she
would get but a empty shell. The big petroleum companies would quickly move
their corporate headquarters to Dubai leaving us nothing but a bunch of
empty gas stations. ‘I am not political and do not want to offend anyone,
especially the people on the list who support the National Democrats.’

Come on now, the National Democratic Party should be honest and change is
name to the American Socialist Party or The Fellow Travelers of America.
Their aim is to destroy America, by using environmental bullshit to stop
America using petroleum; to destroy America by witling away traditional
American Freedoms; to use communist tools by taking property from some
citizens and giving to others under the guise of medical benefits.

Read the historical analogy here:

In Germany they first came for the Communists
    and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Communist.
Then they came for the Jews,
    and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Jew.
Then they came for the trade unionists
     and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a trade unionist.
Then they came for the Catholics
and I didn't speak up because I was a Protestant.
 Then they came for me
and by that time no one was left to speak up.
