[Rhodes22-list] Ron Singerman's odyssey.

Ron,

You said, "sailing There was a vicious rumor that Hartwell was almost
dry." Is that why Lake Hartwell made the news media with its 'Bass Fishing
Tournament"?
Or it made the news this weekend with its sailing events? See this
information provided by the Rhodes Captain who lives in style at the waters
edge:

http://www.independentmail.com/news/2008/may/25/area-hosts-buccaneer-18-national-sailing-competiti/

Maybe you thought that there was no more room on the lake? That event
was near Captain Rummy's old homestead, not on the big water... I think that
it would be appropriate for you to tell the world who is filling you head
with untruths and outright lies. The must be affliated with the national
news media? The sky is falling crowd?

Yes, Lake Hartwell is down almost eight feet. That is not the fourteen
feet of a few years back. And even then, my dept gage routinely showed 160
depths. I would suggest that is deeper than the draft of a Rhodes 22, would
you think? For an Corps analysis see:
http://water.sas.usace.army.mil/declarations.cfm/ In addition, we have had
nice midday winds for the last week.

Again, you need to correct whom ever gave that sorry information. And if
they are on this forum, you need to do publically chastise them with vigor.
Your wife would have enjoyed an afternoon sailing on a big lake. She needs
to take a big stick to those who misled her husband...
