[Rhodes22-list] Power Tiller Remote Control

There have been several posts regarding remote controls for the R-22.  I have installed the Power Tiller and am very satisfied with the results.  I opted to install the unit under the tiller so that it did not interfere with the tiller extension.  The conversion remote kit from Tohatsu was very well engineered and I was able to install it with the help of a friend in about 30 minutes.  It helped that my friend is an engineer and was able to read a diagram since there are no written instructions.  The set up sure beats hanging over the transom, especially since I have the Spitzer tiller-motor linkage. I elected to keep the on and off switch at the motor since the choke is there and starting is quite easy especially since the motor tiller controls are still functional. All in all I am very well pleased with the set-up. Only drawback, I cant use my tiller cover.
