Use a free photo resize utility like www.shrinkpictures.com  OR use Picasa, which has a photo resizer.

OK boys and girls - training in progress. Looking at Slims photos I see they
are 181 kb but the photos in my photos file are about 3.1 mb and the server
won't accept them.  How do you reduce the file size so it will transmit?  I
know, I know, we've been through this before.  Type slowly and in Chinese if
at all possible.
