Chris, My gelcoat was in sad shape however the hull was in great shape.They
used a little fairing compound to smooth out a couple of old repairs. Other
than a good cleaning I am not sure what else they did to prep the hull.
Awlgrip is a little tricky to work with. I think the key is blending the 3
parts to match weather conditions. Are you thinking about painting your
boat?
