The fact that an attack on our soil happened during his administration (the  
only one) is testament to his inability to govern. Remember the old saying 
"The  buck stops here"? Rehashing old history won't fix our current problems, but 
 let's be real about this administrations inability to do the right things. 
You  of all people should be ashamed of this pip squeaks screw ups. And you 
call  yourself a Republican and support this president? Shame on you. Shame on 
you and  more shame on you.

As to Bush's politics, if you  label him, he is a Rockefeller Republican or a
West Virginia Rockefeller  Democrat, or maybe a Wisconsin progressive?  It is
one of  those.

Actually it has not been a compete screw up as you allege.   He did stop more
attacks on our soil.  He did get rid of a dictator  who paid bounties to
suicide bombers.  Congress could have reduced  spending, but which party had
control most of the time?  Think  Nancy.

Remember, how much of a majority he had when he had one?   In our
Congressional system, it takes a super majority to control Congress,  if you
recall that is where laws are made.  When dealing with the  different
departments of the Federal Government, remember that each has its  own
internal bureaucracy.  Imbedded within the departments are those  with their
own agendas.  Those agendas often are at odds with the  administration in
power, especially when his name is Bush.  

I  am sorry that he is not a Native American knowing how to perform a  Rain
Dance, call Slim to do that in full Sioux regalia.
