I wish I could remember the name of the place, and you probably know it 
(I don't live, just make it down that way from time to time).

We had much the same thing up here. There was a small chain store right 
next to Lake Grapevine (but very small as chains go) that was a true 
hardware store. That meant that the stuff I couldn't find for my boat, I 
could make from their supply, plus the had LOTS of stainless steel, 
brass, and even bronze stuff that could be put to use. Unfortunately, 
the location was very good, especially after a new road was put in right 
next to them that also led right to the dam. They sold to a bank who 
razed the building and built a new bank.

The one thing THEY have that I could use for my boat, they won't share 
with me...
