Herb,

First, congratulations to both you and your daughter. Sometimes good things in life come in difficult and unexpected ways.

Second, we need to give credit where credit is due. Sen. Obama issued a personal statement on the issue that everyone on his campaign was to "back-off" on the Palin family issues and would be fired if they didn't. He also reminded everyone that he was born under similar circumstances and the candidate's children were "off limits" Kudos to Obama!

Third, everyone who has children, especially a daughter, can empathize with the Palin family. If they can't, well, they have no class. Mother and Father Palin seem to be made of "pretty tough stock" and let's hope the daughter is as well.

Brad
