[Rhodes22-list] Brad, now my turn:

It's been widely reported recently that she supported the Bridge to
Nowhere, until it was clear that it was a political liability after
Senator Stevens got in so much hot water. They did cancel "the
project", but the state kept the money that was earmarked for the
Bridge. According to one story I read, the state just shifted the money
to a road project. But she continues to lie about her involvement with
it every campaign speech because it plays well. But then again, when
was it illegal to lie during a campaign, they all do it.

I don't know her intent. But, I'm willing to take it that she decided
that building the "Bridge to Nowhere" wasn't a good idea, and that she
put a stop to it. Isn't that what she said?
