Mary Lou, I am not familiar with "McLube Sailcote". In our IMF the
aluminum foil has a round bearing (composite disc) at the top and
bottom that I have applied a lubricant but never to the slot in the
mast whwre the sail rolls into. I was always concerned with the
potential of the lubricant leaving a stain of the white part of our
sail. It sounds like "McLube Sailcote" is made to go on a sail and
parts of the boat that come in contact with the sail as it is rolled
into the mast. Correct? Is "McLube Sailcote" also a good for the IMF
bearing on the foil ends? As usual, Mary Lou is our go to girl. Thank
You, Jim
