Lee,

Wow, I hope you don't have any questions about my voting intentions in the
up coming elections. But here goes on the CCCs.

Is that an auto-tiller attached to the center of

Yes. Bought it from Raytheon long ago and Ray Marine reconditioned it a few
years ago. It is a tremendous help when single handing.

What's that thin white line that looks like it might attach

Those are control lines for a product called Tiller Tamer. I use it to lock
the tiller in position at the dock. When tacking is too tight for the
auto-tiller, it holds the tiller position while I trim sales. It is really
neat to use when sailing close to the wind instead of by a set heading
because the clutch action lets the tiller self-adjust to wind shifts.

What's that long black bar from the motor to the

That's a tiller extension for the outboard motor. After I got the remote
engine control mounted forward and to starboard, I missed the help of
steering with the engine in a tight squeeze. Now I can easily release the
bungee cord holding the extension rod to the rail, lock it and steer the
engine from the other side of the cockpit when needed. There's a universal
joint connecting the extension bar to the motor tiller clamp. In the
unlocked position, the extension doesn't interfer with raising and lowing
the engine.

Not sure about

That's for the haul line for the manual motor mount elevator. I haven't
popped for Stan's electric version yet because I'm not sure what the manual
override is.

The thing on top of the poptop

I don't know what you're referring to there.

and I have no idea what's under the cockpit seat.

That's a remote speaker for the VHF radio. The radio has a remote jack. I
installed a switch for the speaker on the electric panel so I can listen to
the weather without waking my dock mates.

Shame you identified the thumb. I was hoping it was something in a bikini.

In order to publish the picture, I convinced the Grand Censor that by
calling it my thumb, no one would get any bad thoughts. Well Lee, you made
me a liar there. Actually, it is from my niece's anatomy. Settle down--it
is just her finger pointing to the engine control that was too dark to see
through the cell phone viewer. I didn't intend to include it in the shot,
but you should see the unclipped version.
