[Rhodes22-list] Main sail and compass for sale

Excellent! I've always thought that the position of the boom is 
critical for correct furling. Looks like it is even more true for the 
newer style main. I'm thinking there may be one of those in our future.

If anyone is interested in Ron's compass and doesn't want to bother 
with wedges or a hole in the boat it can be put on a board in the 
companionway. We used a piece of mahogany and put it slightly off 
center with the other side cut down so we didn't trip over it quite 
so much. On Fretless that puts it right over the electrical panel 
which isn't so good for the compass readings but we basically just 
use it to steer by and use other tools for navigation. We also have a 
smaller compass with a bracket attachment that we can put elsewhere 
for use in storrmy weather when we want the companionway closed for 
safety reasons.
