Hi Kathy,

Like you, I too have not many on this list. Apart from Stan and Elton, I
have met one other Rhodee. I am sorry to learn of your loss, but am glad
to have heard from you. By the sounds ot things, you seem to be
doing well. Please stay strong, and keep reading; to share your views
would be greater still.

Caesar

Hi All,
This is Kathy Barron, My husband, Jim, was an avid reader and occasional
contributor
to the list since we got our Rhodes in 2007. We bought our boat after his
diagnosis
of stage 4 breast cancer (yes gentlemen I said breast cancer). During that
time,
he loved reading the list--ALL of the conversations!! Daily he kept me
abreast of
the current debate, repair advice etc. It became a wonderful diversion for
him.
Well, we only got 3 summers out of sailing Puffin, Jim died this October.
But now I find myself drawn to daily reading of the list for the same
reasons,
I recognize your names, personalities, humor, etc. Don't take that away
from the
list. What you post might mean more to your readers than you think.
Open forum is my vote!
