Cowie,

Don't let that photo fool you. I'm not sure what they're doing (and who 
knows, maybe it's just my browser), but that compass (Plastimo 101) is 
round, not oval, and really is plenty large and very easy to read. I 
have one on my O'Day 25, and have no problems reading it at all. I tend 
to do a little  "x-sailing" from time to time, and really like the built 
in incline indicator.
