They charge $55/ft.  Numbers of slips are tight right now . . . rebuilding
docks and boat ramp.  Once done, it'll be a pretty nice marina . . . water,
30A power, showers & laundry facilities, and they just started building a
new o'club/conference facility within a short walk - slated for completion
in the fall of '09.  In the winter we can haul our boats out via an old sea
plane ramp onto the hard  - water and electric avail, so you can do clean-up
and projects.  The commissary, exchange and Navy lodge are up the road about
a mile and a half from the marina, so although it's a little bit of a hike,
replenishment is doable - and it's usually pretty easy to hitch a ride
-folks are pretty friendly - we even allow Air Force and Army guys to hang
around - and you know what a pain they can be.  Although "live-aboard" is
not allowed, extended stays are pretty normal.  And we get a goodly amount
of retired transients as they move up and down the coast.  If you ever head
