[Rhodes22-list] Vancouver, BC

A couple of questions:

I will be in Vancouver, BC in mid June with my decidedly non-sailing wife. 
However:

We will be there a week, and as you know, absence makes the heart go fonder,
so, are there any Rhodes' sailors in Vancouver?  And if so, what would be a
good diversion for a couple of hours to get my wife off on her own while I
mooched a ride on the Pacific, dodging whales and such? (hint, hint...)

More broadly, what is good and not so good, from personal experience as to
what to do (or not to) and where to (or not to) stay while in Vancouver, or
Victoria BC?

Another sailing related question, are there any Rhodes currently sailing in
Europe, especially in Germany?
