[Rhodes22-list] Sally Sail - Question to all

Rummy said to me that Rhodes with battened main vs Rhodes with straight cut or without batten, all things being equal; the Rhodes with battened main would slowly pull away for the Rhodes without battened main.

I believe Rummy said that the main with the single vertical batten
was a distinct improvement over his old main but I don't know what
was the condition of the sail he replaced. I do know that if we were
to replace our main we would go with the battened main.
