I just happened to check my wiring yesterday.

1 common wire
1 circuit that runs anchor light switch
1 circuit that runs off the anchor light switch flipped to the other
"on" postion, I assume this is a steaming light.

I don't have any spreader lights.

4 prongs means the plug is designed to support 3 separate circuits + 1
ground wire. Logically they may be assigned as:

1) Steaming light
2) Anchor light
3) Spreader lights

I have steaming and spreader lights on my boat, but no anchor light on
the mast. So I have 1 circuit left to install that in the future if I
wish.

Cheers!
