Caesar:

I have only had the boat about six weeks and it came new from the factory. 
The gray areas on the deck has a textured paint surface, looks like a sand
like agregate mixed in with the paint, and provides a nice non slip surface. 
It has not been warm enough to try out the touch factor on my bear feet but
I will let you know when it warms up.  the cockpit has a textured pattern,
not the textured paint.  I will send you some better photos next time out.
