[Rhodes22-list] main sail outhaul

Welcome, Jon.  I've sailed several times on a friend's boat in
Pleasant Bay - it's a great part of the world.

On my boat the block on the boom is usually placed at the end of the
boom to pull out the main, but slides on the track toward the mast to
reef the main.  The other one is fixed to the clew.  I'll try to
remember to grab a picture of my setup when I'm at the boat tomorrow.
